Annually the Sutton Trust summer school attracts increasing numbers of pupils, who are in their final year at school. This week-long program aims to provide individuals with an insight into student life and aid them in producing high-quality applications to top universities. Pupils attend intensive learning sessions alongside various after-class activities.
The University of St Andrews Ultimate Club was delighted to be a part of this project and held a sport session, which aimed to introduce the pupils to the sport of Ultimate. Fundamental throwing techniques and the rules of the game allow these pupils to be able to undertake the sport at a higher competitive level.
